An independent appraisal documents your vehicle's market value – a solid basis for customs clearance, insurance or resale. We arrange the assessment by recognised experts.
When an appraisal makes sense
If there is no meaningful purchase invoice – for example when buying from a private individual – or if customs questions the declared value, an appraisal provides clarity. It documents the real market value and serves as the basis for the customs value on which automobile tax and import VAT are calculated.
Classic and special vehicles
For classic cars, youngtimers and rare vehicles, the value cannot simply be derived from price lists. An appraisal takes condition, originality, history and the current market into account – and is often also required for registration as a veteran vehicle or for insurance.
How it works
