Server log files
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically stores data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, the page accessed, and information about your browser and operating system. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and is not merged with other data sources.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email, phone or via the import calculator, your details are stored to process your enquiry and any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent; the only exception is the de-identified transfer to Google described under “Google Ads and conversion measurement”.

For web analytics and to measure how well our advertising works, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and other Google services. Google Ads and conversion measurement
We advertise with Google Ads, a service of Google Ireland Limited. To measure whether an ad led to an enquiry, we pass your email address and, if provided, your phone number to Google when you submit a form on this website (contact form, newsletter sign-up, currency exchange) and in the import calculator. These details are made unreadable in your browser with a one-way method (SHA-256 hash) and are never transmitted in plain text. On this website, this happens only if you have agreed in the cookie notice. Google matches this value against its own user accounts to link ad clicks to enquiries. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process; Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can object to this processing at any time using the contact details below.
Disclosure to third parties
To handle a car import, we work with partners (e.g. transport companies, customs, insurers). Your data is only passed on to the extent necessary for this purpose.
